Join Our Team: Volunteer Communications Lead

We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Social Media team and help to raise the profile of Bromley Homeless. In this role, you will create compelling content, including newsletters, fundraising blogs, website pages, and publish event outcomes to highlight our impact.

You will also represent Bromley Homeless by delivering engaging presentations to raise awareness and support for our work across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Bromley Homeless in a range of settings in the local community, giving presentations to audiences.
• Responsible for creating and delivering bi-weekly newsletters to regular contributors, staff and volunteers via Mailchimp etc.
• Provide Social Media colleagues with content to promote or report on events, case studies, etc.
• Create fundraising blogs, website pages and general information about the charity
• Attend and support fundraising events and help to deliver the charity’s Fundraising Strategy.

Skills and experience required

• Previous experience of PR/Communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm and passion to support Bromley Homeless
• Team working and interpersonal skills
• Engaging with members of the public
