We’re thrilled to share that Rotary Beckenham’s recent Swimalong raised more than £2,300 in support of Bromley Homeless!

On Sunday 11 May, 31 swimmers came together at The Spa at Beckenham to swim the equivalent of a marathon – and they smashed this goal by covering over 31 miles in just 3 hours 🏊‍♀️

This joyful day saw swimmers of all abilities take part – including many kids who impressed and inspired us with their enthusiasm!

We want to say a huge thank you to:

  • Rotary Beckenham, for choosing us as their Swimalong charity this year

  • The Spa at Beckenham, for generously hosting the event

  • The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Jonathan Andrews, for presenting medals to swimmers

  • Every volunteer, supporter and donor

  • And of course – every swimmer who made this achievement possible!

Rotary Beckenham’s Swimalong events have raised over £25,000 for good causes to date, and we’re honoured to have been part of it this year.

Your support helps us continue our work providing practical housing support and advice to anyone across Bromley affected by homelessness.

Thank you,
From everyone at Bromley Homeless
