The Innovate Awards 2022
Following our success at the One Bromley ‘Celebrating Integration Together’ awards in May, the Medical Clinic we provide for our clients in partnership with Bromley GP Alliance, has been selected as a Finalist in the national Innovate Awards – 2022.
The finalists were selected following a rigorous round of judging over the summer.
In its inaugural year, The Innovate Awards saw a grand total of 194 entries from health and care teams across the country covering ten award categories. The winner and highly commended in our award category will be announced at an award ceremony on 29 September 2022 along with an ‘Innovation Champion of the Year’ selected from all winning entries.
Our submission: Bromley Homeless Shelter Winter Healthcare Clinic
Established health clinics supporting the homeless over winter providing a range of health care services (health checks, mental health support, drug and alcohol support, podiatry, flu and covid vaccinations and help registering with a GP).
Award Category: Innovation Helping Address Health Inequalities
Judges evaluating the submissions commented on the impressive and inspirational work taking place and have selected our project as one of the best in its category.
The Innovate Awards is a collaboration between the AHSN Network, which operates as the innovation arm of the NHS in England and acts as the collective voice of the 15 academic health science networks (AHSNs); and NHS Confederation, the membership body, representing healthcare in the UK.
