The Milestone (From Project to Established Service)

We are pleased to share that the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) has officially moved our health project into an established, permanent health service!

It is incredibly rare for a small, charity-led winter initiative to transform into a mainstream, commissioned health service. This achievement belongs to the team at Bromley Homeless Charity who drove the original vision, and the partners who walked the path with us. Thank you to our GP Alliance’s prescribing nurse, Sarah Jackson, Dr Hasib Rub, Kim Sutton and Trustees for all their work to make this happen.

Most importantly, the individuals in Bromley will access this local, compassionate, tailored healthcare service they deserve.

Bromley Homeless doesn’t just respond to homelessness—we act as a catalyst for lasting, systemic change.

“Bringing healthcare to people, building relationships over time and recognising that trust has to come before engagement can make an enormous difference. What you have achieved at Bromley is a brilliant example of moving beyond asking people to fit the system and instead of making the system work better for people it exists to support.” Kerri Douglas.
