This Year's Marathon Runners
Vanessa has volunteered at our Winter Shelter and sees first-hand the “good, ordinary people” facing homelessness — and the amazing volunteers who make support possible. She’s been on track with her training plan and her employer will match donations up to £1,000 — helping her aim for an incredible £2,500 total!
Laura is running in memory of her Aunty Jenny. During a difficult period with her mental health, Jenny became homeless. The Bromley Homeless Shelter, in partnership with the local council, helped her rebuild her life, reconnect with her family, and even move into her dream home. The kindness of the unpaid volunteers — who supported her right to the very end — left a lasting impact. Laura is running to honour that love, dignity and second chance.
